Who We Are
History
Founded in 2021, Shadowface Productions was built to curate exceptional experiences across the full arc of every event — from first plan to final cue. Agile and free of big-agency overhead, we pass those savings straight to our clients.
Gregory C. Schaefer (or just Schaefer, as he is known to most) is the President/Founder of Shadowface Productions and an executive producer of events of all types and sizes.

We choose to keep our face in the shadows so that our clients and their events can take the spotlight!
The name and logo go back more than 30 years. As a kid, Schaefer was captivated by the Yin Yang — the black-and-white balance, and the idea that two complementary forces make a whole greater than its parts. Doodling in art class, he morphed the symbol into a face, casting its dark side into the shadows. He put it on a business card and handed it to his father with a promise: one day, he'd start Shadowface Productions.
