About
Luxury Experience Co. is a boutique travel and experience firm founded and run by Melissa McAvoy. You work with her directly — from the first conversation about what you actually want out of the trip, to the confirmations, to the message you send from the airport when something changes.
That structure is deliberate. It means nothing gets handed off, nothing gets repeated back to you wrong, and the person who designed your itinerary is the person who answers the phone.
More about MelissaThe Process
Four stages, one person. Nothing is handed off and nothing is templated.
A call. What you want, who’s coming, what the budget really is, and what would make it memorable.
A designed itinerary with real options, real properties, and real numbers — not a list of links.
We adjust until it’s right. Then everything is booked, confirmed, and documented in one place.
You go. I stay reachable the whole time, in every time zone.

Questions
Anything not covered here, ask on the first call.
Planning is quoted up front as a flat design fee based on the scope of the trip, so you know the cost before any work begins. There are no surprise add-ons and no pressure toward a particular property.
There’s no fixed floor, but the work is built for trips where the details genuinely matter. Bring your real number to the first call and I’ll tell you honestly what it will and won’t reach.
Three to six months is comfortable for most international travel; peak season, safari, and holiday weeks want closer to nine. Short-notice requests are welcome — I’ll tell you straight away what’s still possible.
No. Curated events, milestone celebrations, and standalone bespoke experiences are all part of the work, whether or not there’s a flight involved.
You message me. Not a portal, not a queue. Re-routing, replacements, and late-night problems are part of what the fee covers.
Tell me the occasion, the window, and the people. I’ll take it from there.
