FIASCHETTERIA "PISTOIA"

FIASCHETTERIA "Pistoia" was born in Tuscany in 1890 from the love of a passionate Italian family for food and, most importantly, wine.

A "fiasco" is the round, long-necked glass bottle dressed in straw — still hand-blown the ancient way, in thin pale-green or clear glass, and still how wine travels in Italy.

Since 1890, my family has worked in restaurants in the city of Pistoia (which lies near Florence and Lucca), where in the kitchen, traditional dishes are made with passion and respect.

Pistoia, or "Pistrinium" in Latin, is "city of ovens", because it was known to produce bread since II D.C. In 2017, Pistoia is known as a capital of culture in Italy, and a leader of ancient gourmet culture in its territory.
