Believe it or not (and don’t take it from me, science has my back), gratitude fosters:

  • Flexibility, adaptability, and resilience
  • Improved relationships and Trust
  • Creativity and innovation
  • Empathy and Caring
  • Improved connections and communication
  • Engagement, Community, and Improved Teamwork
  • Sustainable and authentic leadership
  • Learning and growth

I bring a gratitude-based approach to my executive leadership coaching clients and speaking. I work with leaders with their challenges and environments to show when and how to use gratitude to make the most impact.

  • Does gratitude play a role in increased productivity?
  • Can gratitude help you give better feedback to the underperformers and tough team members?
  • Is gratitude the key to increased engagement and trust building for better decisions?
  • Can applying gratitude in the workplace really translate to better results?
  • Is strong gratitude even needed with all this uncertainty and change around AI, Artificial Intelligence?

The answer is YES, YES, YES!

Many leadership models that exist and are well understood are being touted as how to lead in an AI world: Servant Leadership, Positive Intelligence, Emotional Intelligence V2.0, Liminal, Humanistic, and Threshold Leadership. One thing they all have in common is Gratitude.

Speaking

Hi, I’m Star Dargin, PCC, CPCC

I’ve led and managed across many industries and well-known companies. For 25+ years I’ve coached leaders — attending hundreds of trainings, reading (and writing two) leadership books, teaching workshops and master’s-level project management, and talking with thousands of senior leaders and managers. In all of it, I’ve learned there’s no one-size-fits-all model: leadership is unique to each person and situation, and it’s a skill you can learn and adapt for you, your team, and your culture. That’s where I guide you — helping experienced leaders and teams build skills, reach their goals, and take tangible action toward success by making the invisible visible.

Gratitude is part of the conversation whenever it fits, because pairing any skill with gratitude is the fastest way to grow it. This isn’t a fluffy, everyone’s-happy-all-the-time version of gratitude — these are tangible, strategic, measurable skills that drive change through difficult, complex, uncertain times, letting us see a larger reality and produce sustainable, authentic results.

Why clients trust me as their leadership coach and speaker (PCC, CPCC):

  • I guide leaders to achieve proven results they can see and measure
  • I have 10,000+ hours of coaching experience
  • I hold myself to impeccable integrity, confidentiality, and ethics
  • I can translate the “unknown” into the known and make the intangible tangible
  • I’m non-judgmental, open, and supportive while being direct, honest, and clear
  • I focus on your strengths while helping you overcome challenges
  • I’ve worked across a wide variety of industries, guiding clients through complex challenges
  • I can show you how to apply the science-backed power of gratitude in your leadership role (and throughout your life!)
  • I always bring helpful, pertinent resources specific to you and your needs
  • My speaking engagements are engaging and inspiring

I hold a B.S. in Computer Science and earned my coaching certification through the International Coaches Federation (ICF) and the Coaches Training Institute (CTI). I’m a member of the National Speakers Association (NSA), affiliated with the Project Management Institute (PMI), and have taught graduate-level project management at Boston University for over 20 years.

All of my offerings and 1:1 coaching sessions are tailored and customized to be effective for you and your workplace.
